Roussillon is located at the centre of the Luberon’s 'Golden Triangle' formed by the medieval hilltop villages of Gordes, Bonnieux, Lourmarin, Lacoste, Menerbes (featured in Peter Mayle's 'Year in Provence') and Oppede-le-Vieux, all of which are within 10-20 minutes drive.

The Luberon is considered to be the heart of Provence and the house is a perfect base to explore Avignon, Aix en Provence, Orange and Arles all within an hours drive. 

It is a one hour drive to the international airports at Marseille and Nimes. The high speed TGV train service stops at Avignon is also one hour from the house.

The closest beaches are located an hour’s drive away at Cassis or St Cyr sur Mer both of which have fine sandy beaches and numerous restaurants. The French Riviera is only two hours away, making the beaches of Cannes and St Tropez a great day out!
